Hiring for Operations Manager

Heritage Plumbing Group is a reputable local plumbing company based in Reservoir. We specialise in the domestic plumbing maintenance, commercial plumbing maintenance field, niche construction projects and the gas industry.

An opportunity has opened up for a full-time operations manager with an immediate start.

The job role will consist of:

  • Managing a team of maintenance plumbers
  • Delegate jobs to technicians
  • Attend / assist on jobs when needed
  • Handling on site complaints and queries
  • Evaluating technicians on site
  • Workmanship audits
  • Conduct toolbox meetings
  • Manage big plumbing projects
  • Organise materials for jobs
  • Stock control
  • Measure flashings where needed
  • Attend the factory/office when needed.

The candidate must have experience in:

  • Operations (Day to Day)
  • Maintenance.
  • Renovations.
  • Roofing, guttering & flashing’s.
  • Hot and cold water rough in.
  • Drainage above ground and below ground.
  • Fit off.
  • Gas piping installation .
  • Appliance installation & servicing.
  • Drain Blockages
  • CCTV camera use
  • All general plumbing

The perfect candidate will also have experience/qualifications in:

  • CRM / Aro Flo
  • Management role or sales / customer service
  • Managing big plumbing projects
  • First Aid

You will also need to be:

  • Reliable, trustworthy and always punctual.
  • Have a great work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • Neat and tidy appearance.
  • Strong people skills.
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management
  • High attention to detail
  • Have a broad range of plumbing skills
  • Computer friendly / tech savvy
  • Candidate to have own hand tools & cordless power tools
